Advocate Avimor graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (LLB), in 1973, and has been a member of the Israel bar association since 1974.
Adv. Avimor is one of the leading litigators in Israel specializing in the field of Medical Malpractice. Adv. Avimor represents most of the medical establishments and insurance providers in Israel. In 40 years of litigation Adv. Avimor has been regularly appearing in front of the Supreme Court of Israel and has contributed to its most significant rulings of the in the field of medical malpractice, such as Wrongful Life and Birth (Zaitsov verdict) and the Ambiguous Causation (Malul verdict, ) among others. He is a member of the tort forum of the Israel bar association.
In the business realm, Adv. Avimor represents Israeli and global corporations. Adv. Avimor advises in regards to commercial affairs, international manufacturing and distribution contracts, and is an expert in building legal platforms to support international business operations.
Adv. Avimor is a certified arbitrator by the Israeli Bar Association and serves as a mediator for both commercial and tort disputes.
Adv. Avimor is active in the academia, lecturing on medical risk management at various universities and development programs for practicing attorneys, judges and doctors and commercials entities in Israel and abroad.
He served for many years as a member of the ethics committee of the Israel Bar Association and as the Deputy Chairman of the National Ethics Committee.
