Advocate Oren Shadmy – Senior Partner
Advocate Avimor graduated from the Law Faculty of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (LLB), in 1973, and has been a member of the Israel Bar Association since 1974. He has over40 years of experience in the practice of law. He speaks Hebrew, English, French and German fluently. He is one of the leading attorneys in the litigation field in general, and in the field of medical malpractice in particular, and represents most of the medical establishments in Israel, as well as the leading insurance agencies in this field. He has contributed to the most significant rulings of the Supreme Court in the field of medical malpractice, such as Wrongful Life and birth)(Zaitsov verdict), Ambiguous Causation)(Malul verdict), and more.
He is a member of the tort forum of the Israel Bar Association. He is certified as an arbitrator by the Israeli Bar Association and serves as a mediator for both commercial and tort disputes. In the business realm, he provides legal advice and representation to Israeli and international companies in Israel and abroad, with an emphasis on marketing contracts, international manufacturing and distribution, and building legal platforms for the activities of these companies abroad.
Advocate Avimor is active in the academic field as well, and lectures on medical risk management at various universities, as well as in educational programs for attorneys, judges and doctors and commercials entities in Israel and abroad. He served for many years as a member of the Ethics Committee of the Israel Bar Association (Jerusalem district) and as deputy chairman of the National Ethics Committee.

From 1973-76 he served as an Israeli attorney in a prestigious U.S. law firm in New York (Parker, Chopin, Plato & Klimpel), working in the field of commercial law and providing legal advice to Israeli and U.S. companies on their mutual ventures. In 1976-77, he served as regional manager of Avis Rent-a-Car, which was a subsidiary of the American company, and underwent further educational training in England and Ireland.
Advocate Shadmy worked as an Israeli journalist in Israel (for Itim and Maariv), and served as in-house counsel for a number of Israeli commercial corporations. He specializes in corporate law, contract law, real estate law, estates and wills, and he provides ongoing legal counsel to commercial firms and non-profit organizations and public organizations in the academic field, such as Wingate Academic College, and Tel Aviv University in the management of estates and similar subjects.
In the business realm, as well as representing individuals, he provides advice to foreign companies for their business dealings in Israel, and advice to Israeli companies, especially regarding their transactions with companies abroad.
Advocate Shadmy has also served as a member of the Appeals Board for municipal property tax matters in the Herzliya municipality.
